Day 51 of the "54 paintings of Falmouth Beaches in 54 days" project to celebrate that where we are in 2021 vs. where we were at this time last year!
Day 51. Woodneck Beach. At low tide, it's tidal flats and rocks.
It's the one beach of the public beaches where I have to get out of my car and sit on the beach, as there is not a view of the beach from the parking lot. Not a terrible thing at all on a beautiful day like today.
So for fun and a hint of whimsy I sprinkled some sand into the wet paint on the beach part of the canvas.
Painting is 8"x10" oil on traditional stretched canvas.
